On Sunday, January 14, 2018 Rita Spencer passed away from sudden cardiac arrest. Rita was 44 years old, and fought a very rough 3 year battle with Heart and Stroke complications. She had 2 heart attacks, a stroke, renal kidney failure from stroke diagnostics, and diabetic blindness from her many renal treatments and medication.
Rita was a very loving wife, mother, and member in her community. She was an inspiration to all who witnessed her struggles and victories for the smallest achievements we so often take for granted. Prior to her illness, she was a successful business manager at Voltech Fire for over a decade, an active volunteer with community youth groups, a gifted artist, and always had a heartfelt smile that embraced all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years – Robert, and her 3 children – Sarah age 9, Emmaline age 17, and Christian aged 19.
