It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Lyon Guthrie February 7, 1944 - July 21, 2022.
Ken was born in Kelowna B.C to Patrick and Patricia Guthrie. He spent the majority of his life in the lower mainland and worked as a forklift driver in Port Coquitlam.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Patricia Guthrie and leaves behind his sister, Julia Cooley and brother in-law, Jack Cooley as well as his brother Donald Guthrie, niece Shannon Herdman, nephew Patrick Cooley, niece Janice Lang, great nephew Freddy and great niece Josie. The family would like to extend a special thankyou to Jasmine Burge, social worker and close friend to Ken during his stay at Queens Park Care Home.
Ken was a wonderful person who generously gave to charitable causes throughout his life. His interests and knowledge were vast and always made for interesting conversations.
Ken will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
