Doreen Jean Davison

Doreen Jean Davison (nee Petersen), 78, passed away on July 28, 2023, in Abbotsford, BC. She was born in Port Alice, BC on May 10, 1945. Doreen was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Doreen was a devoted woman who cherished her family above all else. She adored her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in their presence. Her daughters, Katrina Postma (Terry) and Shayna Davison, were the light of her life. Doreen also shared a close friendship with Ed Gamble, who brought her much happiness.

In her spare time, Doreen had a passion for collecting owls. Her owl collection was a testament to her love for these magnificent creatures. She also enjoyed volunteering and giving back to her community. Doreen's caring nature and selflessness were evident in her dedication to helping others.

Doreen will be dearly missed by her loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet McKeever, her father, Walter Petersen, her brother, Lorne Petersen, and her daughter, April Campbell.
