Aileen Tapp passed away at the Menno Home in Abbotsford, BC on August 21, 2015. Aileen was born on July 1, 1926 to Michael and Anne Fedirchuk, in Ethelbert District in Manitoba. She left the family farm in her late teens to work in Dauphin, Manitoba. It was there she came in contact with the Truth and God’s servants. In 1946 she made her life-long choice to serve God. In 1950 she moved to Winnipeg and pursued a 21 year career of dressmaking.
Aileen married Ivan Tapp in October of 1971 and lived in Anaheim, California until they moved to Abbotsford in 1983. She was predeceased by Ivan in 1986.
Aileen is predeceased by her siblings Mary, Alex, Metro, Lena, Paul, Effie, Peter, Jim, Pauline, Michael and Bill. She is survived by one brother John of Montreal, QC and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff who cared for her at the Menno Home and to all the workers and friends who stood faithfully by Aunt Aileen.
