Tomas "Tom" Ramirez left us to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born Sunday, September 22, 1946 in Raymondville, Texas. Tom served his country by joining the U.S. Army in 1968 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1970. He worked for Qwest Communications and retired with 32 years of service. He was also employed with Tee Pee Contractors and he loved and respected all the employees.
Tom is survived by his wife Belinda "Linda" of 46 years, daughter Lucinda Johnson (Brandon) of Yuma, son Philip Ramirez (Carmen) of Flagstaff, seven grandchildren; sister; Juanita Meade of Yuma, brother George Ramirez of Brownfield, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents: Leonardo and Eloisa Ramirez, and seven siblings. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Johnson Mortuary. A visitation is scheduled for Thurs. Feb. 4th 5pm-9pm with a Rosary at 7 pm. The Funeral Mass will be February 5, 2016 at noon at Immaculate Conception Church followed by the burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Good Shepherd. Pallbearers include, Philip J. Ramirez, Philip J. Ramirez II, Diego Ramirez, Matthew Taylor, Gabriela Taylor, Chris Meade and Alexia Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Melissa Money, Danielle Taylor, Mike Fox and Brandon Johnson.
Please join us at St. Ann’s Hall at Immaculate Conception to Celebrate the Life of Tom at a pot luck that will immediately follow the interment.
