Mr. Shepherd was the neighborhood dad. Loved him and Mickey. I grew up in the best neighborhood with the greatest kids. Always a ton of kids out to play with. I will miss the laugh and the smile.

I have a very special place in my heart for Shep!  Every time I would see him, at church or out and about, he would give me a hug and welcome as if I was one of the most special people in the world!  The amazing thing is that he was like this to all who knew him!  He surely was a wonderful man of God and Jesus shown in everything he did!   I have absolutely no doubt that he's rejoicing in God's presence!  I will keep all of his family in prayer because I know you'll miss him very deeply.  Marla Moore

I did not know Bob that well but I certainly remember him well back to 1963 or so and in recent years.   No doubt in my mind that Bob was assigned by the King to teach kindness, humility and patience in this world in setting an example for us to live by.  We encounter these special Warrior Angels every once in a while in our lifetime.  

It was indeed an Honor to have known Bob Shepard.

So glad I was able to get to know Shep after her married Aunt VELMA.  
He and Aunt Velma could come to the Lairmore family reunion in San Diego.  We sat around the table with the family all gathered  and he would tell us storis.  He had a heart of gold and took great care of Aunt Velma.  He will be missed.

I wish I had more memories with you. I will miss your smile. Love you tons grandpa shep.

So many good memories growing up with all the Shepherds.  Shep just made everything more fun.  He was a good man with a good heart and I'm glad I had the opportunity to have him in my life.  
 My heart goes out to the family.  He will truly be missed, but not forgotten.

Shep you were one of the kindest people I have ever known. All of my memories of you are good, because you were just a good guy. The world will not be the same without you, however, the worlds loss is heavens gain. Enjoy eternity in the loving arms of our Savior.  Shalom.

To Velma and the Shepherd Family,

We have known Bob for many years and Becky worked with Laura at Palmcroft School. I had the priviledge of having Bob for my baseball coach in senior Babe Ruth baseball in Yuma. He was an outstanding coach. Bob was also a good friend to my wife Becky's parents, Walt and Ernestine Ruth. When Walt was diagnosed with Lou Gerigh's Disease (ALS) Bob would come by and work on their 1971 AMC Javelin SST and visit with Walt. They so much appreciated Bob and his friendship. We still have the 1971 Javelin SST and we were glad we had the opportunity to take it over for Bob to see it after we restored it. He was a good man and he will be missed but not forgotten. May God bless you all during this difficult  time.

Best neighbor ever. Always smiling always positive. Never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He will be so missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.
