Michael A. Garcia

Michael was born on Tuesday, September 10, 1968 in Yuma, Arizona. His parents are Alberto and Sarah Garcia. Michael was raised in Somerton, Arizona with his siblings, Albert, Ray Henry, Patrick, Michelle, Gilbert and Christopher. He was optimistic in his outlook on life and was able at all times to be open and direct in his communication. Armed with a great wit, Michael was raised to be accepting of others and to implement a strong personal work ethic, he worked as a caregiver.

Michael entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona. He is survived by his parents, Alberto and Sarah Garcia, brothers, Albert, Ray, Henry, Patrick, Gilbert, Chris, and sister, Michelle. Many nieces, nephews and cousins which he loved dearly. Visitation will be 5:30pm - 10pm Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Somerton, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be 10 am Monday, April 7, 2014 at the church. Private Cremation entrusted to Johnson Mortuary.

Michael was the kind of person who could win others over easily. A concrete communicator, he relied on his senses to increase his involvement and awareness of others. He was always able to provide amusing repartee to his friends and acquaintances, offering a seemingly endless supply of quips, anecdotes, jokes and stories. Michael enjoyed his life and the experience of living it.
