Mary Lou Eberhardt was born in Yuma, AZ, December 12th, 1950. She was a dynamic, caring and beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and wife. She lost her battle with cancer and passed peacefully in her sleep on April 20th, 2012 and leaves behind a piece of kindness and compassion in the hearts of all who had the opportunity to know and feel her love. Born and raised in Yuma, she attended both Yuma and Kofa High School.
Mary Lou has been a realtor working in the Yuma area for the past 20 years. She last worked with Matt Fischer ERA Real Estate and loved her career, including all the friends and coworkers she met along the way. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Fred Eberhardt; her son, Steve Williams, his wife Kari and their two children Rush and Rhys; her daughter, Erica Williams; her partner, Monica Solis and her two children Ruben and Stevie Soto; her daughter, Lauren O'Connor and her husband Elliott; her mother, Lydia Gill; her brother, Eddie Gill (Nellie); her sister, Pearl Strom (Michael); her brother, John Gill (Lupe) and her sister Dora Hernandez (Johnny).
A viewing will be held Friday, April 27th from 5PM to 8PM at Johnson Mortuary. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church the following day, Saturday, April 28th 2012 at 9:30AM. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Immediately after the burial, family and friends of Mary Lou are invited join in a potluck celebration of her life at the family's home.
