Manuel passed away September 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Manuel lived life to the fullest, making the most out of every moment. He Traveled the country and enjoyed life to the fullest. Family was everything to him. He loved boating and every summer for the past 40 years you could find him out at Martinez Lake on the Colorado river boating with his family.
Manuel was born and raised in Ajo, Arizona. After high school Manuel went into the United States Navy were he was an MM2 Petty Officer 2nd class. From there he went to work for Phelps Dodge mine where he served out a 4 yr. apprenticeship as a machinist in 1970. He then started a career at Arizona Public Service (APS) in Yuma in 1977. Manuel retired from Arizona public service and went on to a 2nd retirement from South West carpenters local union 1607.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Madge Rodriguez of 64 years. His daughters Dorrie Huguez, Maria Aguilar (Donald), sons Manuel Jr. Rodriguez (Janet), and Michael Rodriguez. 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Words can never express how much he will be missed.
Manuel's Celebration of Life will be on October 1, 2022 at 9 AM. World Harvest Church 350 E. 18th St Yuma, AZ 85364.
