Lucia S. Rodriguez was born July 6, 1937 in Yuma, AZ to Florencio and Camila Salas. She began her eternal life with The Lord on February 27, 2024 in Tucson, AZ. Lucia (Lucy) was a devoted wife, mother, and nana who dedicated her life to her family and The Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon S. Rodriguez; her daughter, Luana Vasquez; sister, Olga Guerrero; and daughter-in-law, Lori Rodriguez; her parents; and in-laws, Victor and Juana Vargas.
She is survived by her son, Ramon Rodriguez Jr, daughter, Melina Rivera, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, their spouses and significant others, whom are loved equally, sisters Celia and Vickie, brothers Florencio Jr. and Octavio, in-laws (who she loved and treated like siblings), cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was a proud Cursillista and spent many years serving The Lord and her community through her involvement in the cursillo/ultreya movement with prayer, music, and leadership. Lucia retired from JCPenney after many years of dedicated work. Lucia shared her joy, commitment to family, Faith, and blessings to all she met.
