Janet was born in West Plains, Missouri to Donald Harold Stubbs and Sandra Jean Stubbs (nee Adams) on August 31, 1965. She lived in Springfield, Missouri until she moved to Yuma with her family and graduated from Kofa High School. Janet was a fiery woman, well known to many for her friendship, generosity, and compassion. Janet was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her beautiful smile lit up every place she went and her ability to listen without judgement was unmatched.
Janet is survived by her husband, Silas Sellers; mother, Sandra Stubbs; children, Christina Buco, Rebecca O’Donald, and Katherine O’Donald; granddaughters, Geneva Buco and London Buco; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Stubbs; brother, David Stubbs; and grandparents, R.G. and Frieda Skiles.
Private services will be held at Johnson Funeral on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 9:30 am. The community is welcome to pay their respects from 11:00 am to noon after the private service. Janet will be laid to rest at Johnson Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
