Gustavo "Gus" Hernandez passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at home. Gus was born in Yuma and was the second child born to Guadalupe "Lupe" and Candelaria "Maria" Hernandez. Gus graduated from Kofa High School and was a fierce Dart Competitor. Gus was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to everyone.
Gus was preceded in death by his baby Sister, Lisa Hernandez, Nephew, Rustin Hernandez, and Father, Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez. He is survived by his Mother, Candelaria "Maria" Hernandez, Brothers, Ramiro Hernandez (Ruth), Jimmy Hernandez (Marla), and Sister, Letty Klar (Tim), many Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, fellow Dart competitors and friends who will remember his beautiful smile, funny humor, kind and generous man Gus was to this world. He left a positive impression with all he met, and will be sincerely missed.
Internment Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, located gravesite at Johnson's Mortuary & Desert Lawn Park, 1415 S 1st Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364.
