Happily married to Yvonne Rivera for 61 years in which they enjoyed the "snowbird" life, Living in Yuma for the winters and spending the summer months in Pecos, New Mexico.
Eddy is a Veteran with 30 years of military service in which he retired as a Command Sergeant Major. He was commandant of NCO Academy in Roswell, New Mexico, and worked for several Generals over the years.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne, sons, Stephen , Robert and William as well as 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and 2 daughter-in-laws Roberta and Tita.
Eddy retired at the age of 50 where he enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. When home, he loved being outside working on projects. Keeping his property clean and keeping his cars spotless. We always kidded that you could eat off dad's engines as he kept them so clean. When in Yuma, he Loved to ride his bike. Riding 5 miles a day. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed watching the Warriors, Lakers and the Suns.
A military service will be scheduled this coming spring to lay Eddy to rest in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico
