Patricia Jean Kilday

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Jean Hallberg-Kilday. After 99.5 years, she passed away peacefully from natural causes on December 7, 2024 in Redlands Community Hospital with family by her side.

She was born on June 21, 1925 in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Harold Erickson and Estelle Chrzas-Erickson. Pat, her husband Bub and first-born son Garry, moved to Yucaipa in 1953 and remained a resident of the town until her passing. She was a retired school, church and legal secretary. She enjoyed dancing (1950's swing), sewing, cake decorating, camping/traveling, and painting. She was fiercely independent but loved her family, friends and the Lord more than anything.

She is survived by children Garry (Bonnie) and Laurie (Fred). Grandchildren Corey (Lisa), Chelsey, Seth (Katie), Leah (Nick), Breanna and David. Great grandchildren Jillian, Jessica, Corbyn, Katelyn, Carsyn, Molly, Seth Corey, Logan, Samantha and Matthew. Nieces/Nephews include Stevan Akerley (Patricia), Vicki Hignight (Gary), Julie Erickson and Kenny Erickson. She is also survived by Linda Hallberg (widow of Lance Hallberg) and extended Kilday family Larry (Linda), Sean (Michelle), Jolene, Heather (Jeremy), Isaiah, Delaney, Nita, Calleen and Lyndsey.

She was preceded in death by Darrel "Bub" Hallberg (husband), Harvey Kilday (husband), Lance Hallberg (son), Bruce Erickson (Brother), Nita Erickson (Sister-in-law) and Kimberly Erickson (Niece).

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 23, 2024, @ 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church Yucaipa (12449 California Street, Yucaipa 92399). Luncheon directly following for guests. Private graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Faith Lutheran Church, Yucaipa.
