It is with great sadness that the family of Edith McCartney announces her passing on November 30th 2024 at her home in El Mirage, AZ. Edith born July 17th 1951 and was a native of Arizona. Edith Graduated from Carl Hayden High school and started her family shortly after. She went on to have 6 children. For Edith, her children will be her legacy. She was absolutely devoted to her children, Grandchildren, and her Great Grandchildren.
Edith’s love language was definitely cooking, some family favorites were her chicken & dumplings, and my favorite, hotpot. That amongst other things, is what we’ll miss.
Edith is preceded in death by her mother and father (Cora McCartney and Edward Pern). Her siblings Ronald, Donald, and Peggy McCartney. She is survived by her brothers, Michael, Edward, Charles, and her children Emmy, Natalie, Jacqueline, Timothy, Daniel, and Jennifer Taylor, and also her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She’ll be forever missed
