Bob was born April 10, 1940 to Thomas and Anne (Foley) Fleming. He was a life long resident of Yonkers. He served his Country as a proud Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan for several years. Following his military duty he joined the the Portchester Police Department until he was called to work as a Firefighter for the Yonkers Fire Department until his retirement. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years Charlene Oleksowicz Fleming. His son Robert( Leslye), grandsons Jason & Christopher of Hopewell Junction . His sister Kathy (Jack) Moran of Yonkers. His sister-in-law Isabelle Fleming of Chester, NY and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his his parents and his brother Thomas Fleming. Bob leaves behind close friends. He left his mark in Yonkers and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church on Monday May 8th at 11am. Final disposition will be private.
