Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy of Yonkers died on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at age 53. Born on June 1, 1958 to Christopher and Kathleen (Sheehan) Murphy in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from St. Denis and Lincoln High School. Mr. Murphy worked for the City of Yonkers for over twenty three years in their DPW Dept. He was a member of Local #456. On September 25, 1982, he married Anne Niciu in St. Anthony’s Church. She survives living in Yonkers. Patrick was a Parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church. Besides his wife Anne, he is survived by his three children; Jessica, Kimberly, and Patrick and two brothers James and Christopher Murphy. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on both Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Anthony’s Church on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00 am. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
