Lillian Dorethia Tate-Shinault was born in Memphis, TN on June 14, 1940. She leaves to mourn her loss four children Sheila D. Shinault and Keith A. Shinault of Kansas, Andrea M. Carter of Mount Vernon, and De Wayne J. Shinault of Yonkers, a sister Bobbie Mack of Yonkers. She will also be missed by her ten grandchildren, three great grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Allen Shinault Jr, her son Todd N. Shinault, two sisters Robbie Phillips of Memphis, TN and Marie Simmons of Las Vegas, Nevada and two brothers Joel Jones and Willie Tate of Memphis, TN.
She was employed by General Motors in Tarrytown, and Westchester County Court of Yonkers.
The wake will be at Whalen and Ball in Yonkers, Thursday January 1st, 6pm to 9pm and funeral services will be held at Community Baptist Church in Yonkers Friday January 2nd at 11a.m. Viewing at 10 a.m.
