Kenneth J. Walsh, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Calvary Hospital. He was 92 years old. He was born on May 28, 1921 to Joseph and Mary Lesko Walsh in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. Mr. Walsh was a sales manager in the Good Humor and Lipton Companies in New York City until retirement in 1987. He was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister and an usher. Mr. Walsh is survived by two sisters, Regina and Eileen Walsh of Yonkers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Thomas Walsh and two sisters, Elizabeth Hagan and Patricia Pflaumer. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Monday May 12th at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
