Ellen Lucy Callahan, age 91, of Yonkers, New York passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Ellen Lucy Callahan (Sullivan), 91, a lifelong resident of Yonkers passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024. She was born on August 21, 1932 to John and Maryellen Sullivan. Ellen was the second youngest of 8, all of who are predeceased. Ellen married John Callahan in 1955 and had 3 beautiful children; Thomas (Anna), Joseph and Elizabeth (Michael). Along with 3 beautiful children, Ellen had 4 amazing grandchildren, Steven (Jen), Jennifer, Jamie, and Kristen and many nieces and nephews. Ellen spent her years as a nanny who helped shape and mold many children's lives, including the Powers' family. Ellen loved every single one of the children she raised. Services for Ellen will be Friday March 1, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday in St. Casimir's Church on Saturday March 2, 2024 at 10am. Committal service will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Yonkers, NY.
