Mavis Ann Guerin (Harlan), 79, of Yakima, WA, passed away at her home, May 23, 2018. She was born June 10, 1938, to Edwin and Flora Harlan. She lived in Yakima all her life and attended school in Naches.
Mavis loved her family and dogs beyond words. She loved going to the beach, cooking, crocheting, collecting angels and yard sales.
She worked various jobs including waitressing in her younger years to working as a fruit sorter in her later years.
She is survived by her partner of 29 years, Vern Werre, her children Debbie Sills (Ron), Tammy Platte (Brian) and Robin Parsley (Joey); her grandchildren Lynn Page (Craig), Anthony Platte, Tiffany Platte, Nick Pinkus, Neil Gurule and Kyle Gurule; and her great grandchildren Levi Page, Desiree Page and Averie Page. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother and an infant son, Randy Guerin.
Viewing will be Thursday May 31st from 4:00-8:00 and funeral services will be June 1st at 1:00 at Langevin Funeral Home with burial at West Hills Cemetery.
