Hubert Ray Dove

Hubert Ray Dove, age 80, passed away June 18, 2017 at his home in Gleed, WA. He was born February 3, 1936 to loving parents Jess William and Blanch Catherin May Dove in Peru, WV. Hubert received his early education at Criders One Room School in WV.

Later in life he ran away from home to join the US Air Force, in June of 1958 he transferred to the US Army. He served his country in Vietnam and finished off his career in the Army Reserves, ending with the rank of Warrant Officer. Hubert was a dedicated man working two jobs at once most of his life, during that time he helped to develop the agricultural industry in the Yakima Valley.

He fell in love with Miss Gladys Ann Conduff, proposed to her at the Yakima Skate Land and later they married in Yakima and had a romantic honeymoon in Selah, WA. They have one beautiful daughter. Hubert loved his family, and every fall he would take his two favorite girls on a road trip to Vegas to celebrate their birthdays.

Hubert is survived by his loving wife Gladys and daughter Wena Dove. He is also survived by his siblings Norma, Louis and Delmer. He is preceded in death by his dear parents and siblings Jason, Robby, Guy, Luckie, Evelyn, Alfred, Grace, Deanna, Christine, and Marcella.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1 pm also at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home with burial to follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
