Eugene Jerome Mulroy

Eugene J. Mulroy went to be with the Lord on Wed. March 5, 2014. Gene was born in Olpe, Kansas in 1933 to Jerome & Geraldine. He was the 2nd of 6 children. Gene grew up on the family farm and attended Kansas State University before joining the U.S. Air Force. He ended his career as Staff Sargent in 1957.

Gene worked and retired from MA Bell, then worked for H&R Block for 15 yrs. He loved outdoor work and did yard & gardens for many family & friends around the valley.

Gene belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He liked to Square Dance, play cards and help with the grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Juliann, sons; Michael, David and Nathan (Kristy), daughters; Linda (Les) Folgelson, Kathleen (Randy) Flowers, Julie (John) Leighton and stepdaughters; Pamela (Bruce) Baillie, Jennifer (Dennis) Carpenter, and Carrie (Mark) Peterson, brothers; Eldon (Doris), Richard (Lynne), Patrick, and sister; Alice (Don) Macke, 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob.

Viewing will be Monday, March 10, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Paul Cathedral at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014 with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
