Carrie had a love for singing and spending time with her family, reading romance novels and spending countless hours working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles, watching old western television shows, collegiate level sports such as softball and basketball. Carrie was a member of the Selah Church of the Nazarene and worked many years at Yakima Manufacturing (JELD-WEN), and most recently, Wilbur-Ellis Company.
The family would like to thank Yakima Regional Home Health & Hospice and North Star Lodge’s staff for their continual support of Carrie’s health.
Carrie was a very warm and gentle person with a loving heart who will be missed by many who were very near to her heart, especially her two sons, Anthony and Joseph McDonald, her lifelong friend and companion, Joy Holden, her parents, Ted & Jo Nell McDonald, her three siblings, Steve (Judy) McDonald, Sandy (Lyn) Stiles, and Lori Brooks, as well as many nieces and nephews that survive her.
