Annette was born in Esmond, North Dakota on January 3, 1937, the seventh out of eleven children to George and Pauline Gefroh.
Annette was raised and attended school in Esmond and Minot state college.
She was a professional woman wrestler under the name Annette Palmer from 1956-1967.
Annette and her daughter Gege moved to Yakima, Washington in 1969. Annette was employed at the Four Winds and the city of Yakima which she retired from.
She loved life, enjoyed her walks and stopping at McDonald’s for coffee, water walking at the pool, cooking and serving meals at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, making her mom’s fruit cake every Christmas for so many people, and enjoyed her lunches with the girls from work, but her greatest joys were her one and only daughter Gege and grandson Elliott. She spent most of her Sundays with her daughter Gege and husband Dan. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Annette is survived by her daughter Gege (Dan) Finley, grandson Elliott (Hannah) Kline, husband Jack Fordyce, brother Ed (Faye) Gefroh, sister Diane (Robert) Olson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Cottage in the Meadow and Cedar Hills for the wonderful care Annette received.
