Sandra L Briggs

Sandra L. Briggs, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday November 9th, 2024. She was born in 1940 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from West High School in 1958. She worked at Richmond Brothers where she met the love of her life, Richard, whom she married in 1962. She had two beautiful children who she dedicated her life to raising. She had one granddaughter, Katelyn, who was the apple of her eye. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, role model, friend, listener, and all-around good person. Her smile lit up the room. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by all.

She loved her family, and all the family get togethers. She was an avid reader and a romantic at heart. She loved to travel, especially cruising. Her other passion was gambling. She loved those slots.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her sisters Shirley (Harry) Ennis, Charlene (Don) Carroll, Donna Jean (Lee) Wolford, Patricia Coon, her brother Charles Wareham, niece Debra Kistner, and niece Kelly Jo Wolford. She is survived by her daughter Lorie Morris, her daughter Victoria Briggs, and her granddaughter Katelyn Morris; her sister in law Mary Jo Wareham, brother in law Rich Coon, and countless nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on November 19th at Schoedinger Worthington from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on November 20th at Schoedinger Worthington from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
