Ferris Ronald Cottrell II (aka Ron or Ronnie) passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023 with his wife of 30 years at his bedside. Also present were his brother Cy, Hollis, and their son Christian. He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy and her son Jason Whitt (Jorie), his brother Cyrus Cottrell (Hollis), and their children: Sarah Lafave (Aerik), Christian (Lisa) and Brendan (Brooke), and 18 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Despite his extended illnesses, Ronnie never lost his desire for life. He enjoyed his friends and activities at Willow Brook by Day. He loved his extended family and was very proud of and enjoyed spending time with his niece, nephews and all those grandnieces and nephews.
The family is indebted to Heartland Hospice for their support. Their care and concern made all the difference. We would also like to recognize HomeWell Care Services, especially Victoria, our caregiver, who took wonderful care of Ron and me too.
Ron was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Worthington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s name to Mission Warmth at mission-warmth.org.
