Working as an elementary school teacher in the Elyria City School system for over 30 years, she was a favorite teacher to many students who often returned to visit her years later. She was an active member of two sororities - Delta Kappa Gamma, and Kappa Delta well into her 80s. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Cleveland Indians, Browns and of course, the Buckeyes! Marilyn enjoyed cruising, and she and her husband completed over 20 cruises in her lifetime. She also enjoyed dining out, spending time with family, and during her later years – she loved her wine. Marilyn was a pleasant sole with a constant smile, always bringing pleasure to those around her. She will be greatly missed by all of those who were touched by her presence.
