Marcia is survived by children; John (Melissa) Bollinger and Amy (Chris) Beaver, grandchildren; Austin and Chase Bollinger and Zach and Jake Beaver, along with other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Earl Bollinger; and her sister, Mary Gordon.
Marcia graduated from the Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing, and worked in their surgical department for over 40 years.
Marcia was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life. She loved attending their sporting and school events from band to baseball to golf to soccer… She enjoyed baking and cooking with her grandkids – she was famous for her homemade noodles at holiday time; she even taught her family how to make them. She and Richard enjoyed evenings going to dinner and a movie. Marcia was an avid mystery reader, and loved to read to her grandchildren.
A Memorial Service celebrating Marcia's life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 6699 N. High Street. Please share a memory or send condolences to Marcia’s family.
