Lawrence was raised Catholic and remained a practicing Catholic throughout his life and instilled the love of God into his family. Lawrence was one of six children; Bruce Kendall (Linda), Robert Kendall (Teri), Mary Phillips (Terry Sr.), Daniel Kendall (Rachel) and Ann Harple (Ken).
Larry met Sharon Corrado in February of 1961 and they were married February 23rd, 1963. They had 59 years together in this life and their love lives on. Larry and Sharon had five children; Lawrence G. Kendall , John Kendall (Diane), Brian Kendall (Traci), Catherine Kendall and Joseph Kendall. Larry and Sharon have nine grandchildren; Lauren Ferensen (Cory), Danielle Andrews (Devin), Jacob Kendall (Sarah), Kaylee Kendall (Peter), Bret Kendall, Darin Kendall (Amber), Mark Kendall, Andrew Kendall and Daniel Kendall. Larry and Sharon also have a Great-Grandchild; Ethan Ferensen in addition to numerous other family and friends.
Lawrence went to St. Michaels, St. Charles, The Pontifical College Josephinum and OSU. Larry served in the US Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1963. Larry worked in the printing industry for many years and at one point they had their own printing shop; Corporate Copy Center. Larry enjoyed time with his family most of all, but also enjoyed motorcycles, classic cars, wood working and music. Larry served the Lord and loved his family dearly. We will miss his calm loving presence but know he is at peace.
Larry stated; “God has been very good to me and I wish the same to all of you.”
