Glenn R. Fish, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 4, 2024, surrounded by family, friends, and staff at Brookdale Trillium.Glenn was born on May 29, 1941, in Elyria, Ohio to Russell and Margaret (Martin) Fish. He grew up on a dairy farm, was a 1959 graduate of Medina High School and was a long-time Chatham, Ohio resident. On September 28th, 1963, he married Barbara Boda and they were blessed with 61 years together. He worked as a supervisor at Hobart, Accurate Color and retired from Chick Master.
Glenn enjoyed traveling with his wife and family through-out the United States and into Canada. He was also a railroad enthusiast. Glenn and Barb enjoyed boating throughout the Great Lakes. Glenn was commander of Greater Cleveland Boating and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Locally he was a member of the Lodi Ruritan Club and Chatham Grange. Glenn loved his wife Barbara, his children, grandchildren and his cat, Alec.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara, daughter Nancy (Charles) Eaken of Lodi; son, Russell (Jennifer) Fish of Delaware and his grandchildren Kimmie (Adam) Wetzel, Lauren Eaken, and Tasia Fish.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roland Fish and sister in-law Donna Fish.
