Frank Lee Roberts

Frank Lee Roberts died Saturday, 28 January 2023, in Columbus, OH after an illness of several years. Lee graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1968 and got his B.S. from Franklin University as an adult. He retired from Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. Lee married Carolyn in 2017 and they escaped to the warmth of Sarasota, FL for the better part of each year. Lee's passions were golfing, travel to anywhere at any time, and watching sports, movies, and sunsets on the beach with a cold drink--always with family and friends.

Lee was born in Columbus on 18 June 1950 to William Franklin Roberts (1927-1998) and Kathryn Louise Elliott (1929-2022). He is survived by his wife Carolyn Tauche Roberts, of Columbus; daughter Cynthia Whitaker (Chris) of Baltimore, MD; son Chad Roberts (Dana) and granddaughter Olivia of Zionsville, IN; Julie Jimenez (Tino) of Tempe, AZ; Gaven Jones (Kathryn) of Columbus; sister Carol Smith of Lecanto, FL; his best friend since high school, Mike Murray (Luann) of Hilliard; and extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the National Geographic Society for Lee's love of animals and the planet, or to the ProMedica Hospice Memorial Fund.

A visitation for Lee will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A memorial service will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
