Edward “Ed” Staffen, 75, of Marysville, passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born on August 28, 1946, in Monongahela PA, to the late John and Hazel (Fine) Staffen. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his siblings, David and John Staffen.
Following graduating High School, Ed joined the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon completion of his military service, Ed worked for Xerox and numerous other companies before going to school to become an electrician. He was very talented with everything that he did. He could take anything apart and put it back together. Ed was also a very helpful person. He was always wanting to help other people.
In his free time Ed loved many things. He loved to fish and do yardwork around his house. He enjoyed all types of music. Above everything, Ed loved his family. Family was everything to him. He especially loved his grandchildren who referred to his as “PaPa.” Ed will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Carolynn; children, Link (Michelle) Staffen and William (Ashley) Staffen; siblings, Georgeanna Gamble and Clara Arp; grandchildren, Luke and Jack Staffen; sister-in-law, Kathy (John) Byerly; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 28th, 2022, at 11AM, at Linworth United Methodist Church. A light lunch will follow the service.
