Donna L. Sickafoose, 70, finished her courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones at home on November 18, 2024. She was born on December 9, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to Bersley H. Thomas and Verna M. (Sullivan) Dean. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Taryn Pavelski.
Donna tackled everything life gave her with grace and a smile. She owned and operated her own laundromat and furniture store. In addition, she drove a school bus for children with special needs. She finally retired after 20 years of service as a maintenance supervisor at the Goodyear World Headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
Donna is survived by her daughter Holly (Kevin) Brundage; son Scott Sickafoose; daughter Alisha (Andy) Nelson; grandson Austin Nelson; granddaughters Avery and Aubrey Nelson; and 4 siblings: Coreen (Phil) St. Jean; Wayne (Nancy) Thomas; Melody (Chuck) Merritt; and Randy (Dora) Cole.
A private memorial service will be held with the family.
