David Kessler, aged 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Steven and Nora Kessler. He graduated from Youngstown State University and married Jeanne Davies. David taught high school chemistry and physics and also coached basketball and tennis. After teaching, he went to work for the Ohio Education Association and then started his own consulting business. David and Jeanne have two sons, David (Kathy) and Robert (Erika) and five grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Thomas, Kayden and Kellen. During their 61 years of marriage, David and Jeanne enjoyed boating, traveling and antique collecting. In 2007, they started their own antique business, Sandusky Street Antiques,in Delaware, Ohio. David was known for collecting and repairing antique clocks and for having fun with everyone who came into the store. David always had a joke to keep everyone laughing. David is survived by his wife, Jeanne, his sons, daughters in law, grandchildren and his brother, Jeff Kessler, with whom David was very close and who has been a great comfort to David and his family.
