Daniel was a graduate of Emory & Henry College in VA with a B.S. degree. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and the First United Methodist Church. Surviving is sister Shirley Mooney of Raleigh NC, son E. Lee Puckett, and daughter Diana C. Snyder (husband Robin), both of Columbus Ohio. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Emily, Danny, Lizzy, John, and Joey and 4 great grandchildren; Lily, Poppy, Burch, and Lowen.
Daniel had a lifelong passion for golfing and in later years enjoyed golfing and square dancing with his wife and friends. He could also be found sitting in his recliner with a newspaper in hand fully completing the NY Times daily crossword without fail and with zero assistance. He loved all sports and possessed a quick wit and dry sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held May 6, 2023 from 4 to 5 pm at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 with a Memorial Service, including Masonic ceremonies, at 5pm.
