Brian Christopher Baseler

Brian Christopher Baseler grew up in Worthington, Ohio. He graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in 2010. He completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and graduated from The Ohio State University in 2014. After college Brian had a successful career in Financial Planning. He held several professional designations including multiple financial sales licenses, ALHC, and the CLU. He recently transitioned to a new role as a Relationship Director at OneAmerica, which he was extremely excited about. Brian was an avid golfer, hiker, gamer, and animal lover. He dearly loved his nieces and nephew. He was also a member of the Athletic Club of Columbus. Brian was a huge sports fan and really enjoyed watching his favorite football teams: The Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. Brian never met a stranger, and had a unique ability to make people of all ages laugh, feel welcome, and included. His charismatic and contagious smile will be missed dearly.

Brian is survived by his parents Clifford & Karen Baseler, siblings Amanda (Jeff) Thompson, Clifford Baseler Jr. (Rita Liner), nephew Zachary Baseler, nieces Kennedy Thompson & Keira Baseler, grandfather Frank Roell, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at Schoedinger Worthington, Ohio on Wednesday October 11th, 2023 from 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday October 12th, 2023, also at Schoedinger Worthington, at 11am.
