Barry Rederstorff, age 69, passed away on August 8, 2022. He was born on August 29, 1952 in New Jersey. Barry had been a resident of Worthington, Ohio since 1983. After receiving a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, he worked at American Electric Power in various engineering and management positions for 36 years (1974-2010).
He is survived by his loving wife Carol (Jandura) Rederstorff, children; James Rederstorff (Mandi) and Juliette Rederstorff Savitscus (James), grandchildren; Charlie Anne, Penny and Andrew. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 3-6pm at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON 6699 N High St, Worthington, Ohio 43085. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at ST JOAN OF ARC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 10700 Liberty Rd, Powell, Ohio 43065 followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
