Patricia Jean Trent

Patricia Jean Trent, 79, known by most as Pat, peacefully passed away on February 26, 2022, in Ball Ground, Georgia. Her Celebration of Life will be held in the Cherokee Room at Woodstock West, 735 Market Street, Woodstock, Georgia 30188 on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Pat was born in Stanley, Wisconsin, on April 4, 1942, to Leona Dvorak and Maurice Mead. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Superior, Wisconsin, in 1960. She met her husband, Donald, while attending the University of Wisconsin at Superior, and they married in 1964. Pat spent the majority of her time as a stay-at-home parent to her two girls before discovering her interest in the medical billing profession. While raising a family, she lived in Minnesota, Michigan, Texas, and, since 2011, Georgia.

In her spare time, she loved going to the beach (specifically Dauphin Island, AL and Malibu, CA), never turned down an invitation to go shopping, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was an avid book reader. When it came to card games, Pat was a fierce competitor, especially when it came to playing Euchre.

She was dedicated to her family, living a life full of energy, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it was attending a school or sporting event or receiving a piece of handmade art, she lived for her grandchildren and always appreciated hearing about their current and future endeavors. She also enjoyed watching golf, attending an Atlanta Braves game, or wearing her game-day hat while watching the Green Bay Packers. When it came time for the annual football pool with the family, she was always up for a wager and took part in the winnings.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Trent, her daughter Jane Ramadan and son-in-law Jeff Ramadan, and their two children, Trent (grandson) and Grace (granddaughter); her daughter, Anne Trent, partner Jason Tapp, and their blended family of daughters and sons, Alexis (granddaughter), Bri, (granddaughter) Samantha, Evan, and Ryan; sister Josephine (Jo) Altman; and a beloved host of nieces and nephews.
