Lorie, 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 20th, 2024. Lorie was a devoted mother and her children were her world. Her life was devoted to her children and she loved scrapbooking their baby photos, spending meticulous time making sure everything was perfect on each page. Lorie loved reading and having deep philosophical conversations.
Lorie is survived by her loving children, daughter Amy (Robbie) Alexander of Woodstock, GA; son Steven (Katie) Calendrillo of South Mills, NC; sister Margaret (Curt) Barnes of Sound Beach, NY and brothers Vincent (Diane) DeTurris of San Luis Obispo, CA and Steven (Peggy) DeTurris of Miller Place, NY. She is also survived by her children's father and her friend, Thomas Calendrillo.
