Judy Kraskey, 79, passed away at her home in Woodstock on Saturday, February 4, 2023, following a courageous, year-long battle with cancer. Judy was born in Ferndale, Michigan on August 6, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Marj Colvin; Judy was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents to whom she was close, Lee and Mabel Lemp, and by her aunt and uncle, Hazel and Robert Miller. Judy was a member of Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Ferndale High School, class of 1961. Judy worked with Proctor and Gamble in both Michigan and Georgia; earlier, Judy worked for R.B. Richardson in Michigan.
Judy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was good at many things: she was an artist, a great cook, an avid reader, a worker of newspaper puzzles, and a loyal and devoted friend to many. She was selfless, supportive, and well respected. The family suggests that Judy be remembered with memorials to Saint Jude Children's Hospital: https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/GiftFunds/GiftFunds?px=7865291&pg=personal&fr_id=39300
