John Matthew Reichard

John Matthew Reichard, age75, passed away August 22, 2018 at his residence in Woodstock, Georgia surrounded by his family and friends. John was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John was employed with Sears as a service technician for more than 25 years. He was extremely fond of music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and had a collection of 45 RPM and LP records that numbered in the thousands. John also had a love for baseball, which he coached and umpired for many years. John is survived by his loving wife Brenda Reichard, son, Matthew John Reichard and daughter Stacie Dawn Reichard, brothers, James Reichard and Kenneth Reichard, grandchildren, Cody Michael Sweat, Kayla Brooke Benson and Brittany Nicole Reichard. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Bascomb United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Pastor Sonny Sellers officiating. Refreshments from 12:oo pm to 1:00 pm followed by a memorial in the chapel from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Inurnment with military honors will follow at 3:00 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
