John Michael Rankin

John "Mickey" Rankin, 70, of Canton, GA, passed away on September 28, 2023. He was born on October 18, 1952, in Gadsden, AL, to the late Bud and Patricia Rankin. Mickey was a caring individual who had a great sense of humor and loved his dog, family, and Auburn University Football. Mickey attended Gadsden High School in Gadsden, AL, and later pursued higher education at Richardson Community College in Richardson, TX. He went on to have a successful career as a Transportation and Logistics Manager. In his free time, Mickey enjoyed taking his dog Barkley for long walks and watching sports, particularly football and baseball. He was a dedicated fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams. Mickey is survived by his sister, Debbie Pischke, and his brother, Larry Rankin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Patricia Rankin. The funeral services for Mickey Rankin will be handled by Woodstock Funeral Home located in Woodstock, GA. The family appreciates the support and condolences during this difficult time.
