Howard was born in Kingston Jamaica and immigrated to Westchester New York with his parents and brothers in the 70s. While growing up in New York 'Howie' ,as he was affectionately called, was a star athlete and made his mark as one of the fastest football players from Pop Warner through High School helping to win championships throughout with other talented players in the tight knit Westchester community. Ultimately he became known as 'The Flea' because of size & his lighting speed.
After leaving New York, Howard resided in Danbury, Connecticut, then Smyrna, and Marietta Georgia with his wife and children.
Forever a football fan, Howard could be found watching and passionately cheering on his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. Howard was an avid golfer, often taking his family to the course with him.
Howard will be remembered for his charisma and humor that would light up any room. A proud father Howard could always be found cheering his children on at any of their events. Howard will always be known for being a proud and loving father to his children.
He is survived by: His beloved wife Juana and four children: Alex, Madison, Saniya and Julius. Brother Leighton, sister Renee, nieces, nephews as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins and additional family also in Jamaica, as well as a community of friends who grew up with Howard and adored him.

A visitation for Howard will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A committal service will occur Friday, December 8, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Cherokee Memorial Park, 120 Memorial Dr, Canton, GA 30114.
