Hal, Brenda and I attended the same church and we would chat on Sunday mornings as I was leaving Sunday school and they were going to church. Almost two years ago, they encouraged my move to The Arbor at Bridgemill where we became tablemates and good friends. Brenda always was cheery and smiling and the arbiter of political discussions. She and Hal became my best and closest friends. I will miss both of them so very much. Brenda and Hal, I love and miss both of you so very much. 

So many memories, the one that stands out was when they built their first and only home. Going over while it was under construction. Both were so proud. 

Words cannot express my condolences to the Bradford Family. Mrs.Brenda was a sweet lady from day one when I met her in the dining room. I was singing and she said I had a beautiful voice and could carry a note quite well. Always, had a smile. Mr. Hal and Family you are in my prayers and as well as my heart. Love, Belva

Brenda was my “other Sister” . My Daddy and Uncle Leon worked for the Georgia RR and we all lived in our house. Me n Ralph are 18 days apart. Brenda and my Sister Connie Birthdays are close too.
We shared a lot of good memories at 460 Green St, Augusta. 

We all shared a lot through the years. I always loved visiting with Aunt Ruby n her Mom, Brenda n Ralph on Glenwood in Atlanta. Aaaa the teenage years.
 I remember driving my 55’ Chevy Convertible to Aunt Ruby’s house n Ralph n I went on a double date. Back then Stone Mountain was private (no fences) property so we drove my Chevy  up on the slope side up to where the very step edge started. Talk about impressive was the view of Atlanta summer of 63.

Brenda , I understand your “pain” as I too have  Parkinson’s Disease. Mine was caused by Agent Orange , Vietnam 66’-67’.

Brenda was my cousin & I am so sad to know that's she's no longer on this Earth, but know she's happy in Heaven, probably entertaining her sweet mama & others she loved, with her quit wit.   Makes my heart sing to think about her contagious laugh.  I love you, Brenda Jones Bradford!

Brenda and I met when her son, Matt, and my daughter, Laurie, became engaged.  Our friendship grew as we shared so many very special times together - bridal showers, the wedding, birthdays, baby showers, and of course the arrival of the grandkids.  Being there together when Elizabeth and then a few years later Hunter were born meant so much to both of us.  We formed a special attachment and friendship which was now family.  We enjoyed many special get togethers usually celebrating someone’s birthday, a holiday, or just a backyard barbecue.  There were also the many sporting events where we would cheer the grandkids on as they played their favorite sports.  Brenda always knew all the rules and regulations and would patiently explain to me what was going on (I did not know much about sports)  and as time went by I caught on – thank you Brenda.  She had a beautiful smile and sense of humor and I found myself always laughing when we were together.  Many times we would sit off to the side away from all the noisy commotion and just chat about our wonderful family – we are very blessed.  This past year due to Covid, I did not get to see Brenda and I missed our special times and I will continue to miss her.  Your memory will remain in our hearts and may you rest in peace as you watch over our family.

What a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile. Mrs. Bradford was always so welcoming and kind. She will be missed dearly. Paul and I have your family in our prayers. 

Loved Brenda Bradford!  I taught 5th Grade with her at Carmel for five years and she kept us all entertained!  She was a great leader and teacher and always had a witty saying or story to share.  She was so funny! She taught both of my children in the area of Language Arts and they  loved her too.  My son is now a literature teacher in a high school in Denver and I'm sure Mrs. Bradford helped influence this career decision.  She encouraged creativity and had the ability to make literature come alive!  I have so many good memories of Brenda and I can say that she influenced my teaching and caring for students in a very positive way.

Sending thoughts and prayers to Hal Bradford and family during this difficult time. May God bless and give peace as you keep Brenda’s memories in your heart forever!

Brenda was sooo funny! She was my kind of gal...  witty, dry humor, with the biggest heart and love for her students. Gosh ,I enjoyed working on the 300 hall with her! I am sad to hear of her passing, but rejoice in her homecoming with Jesus. 

I count it as a distinct honor to have served as Brenda’s principal and colleague.  She was a fine educator who was  creative, witty and supportive of students, parents and staff.   She touched many lives.
