Beverley enjoyed reading, finding treasures at garage sales and watching Days of Our Lives and Gone with the Wind. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren and she gladly babysat them every chance she had. One remembers how Grandma would often tell her she loved bacon, but loved her more and another holds tightly the memories of many games of Boggle, making up words and laughing for hours. Beverley was always joking around and loved to make her family laugh. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Beverley leaves behind her sons, Paul D. Richards, Jr (Justina) and Christopher Richards (Mary); grandchildren, Morgan, Jaden, Sierra and Jackson; siblings, Deb, Brenda, Hank and Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Douglas Richards, Sr; parents, Annie and James Gibson; and sisters, Pat and Becky.
A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. For those unable to attend the service, you may view the livestream on Woodstock Funeral Home’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/134563673261373. There will be a viewing prior to the service starting at 12:00pm. The family will accept flowers, or those wishing to do so may make a donation to help with the final expenses.
