Maria Demato, of Long Island City, passed away on December 19, 2013. She was born on June 24th, 1946 to her parents, Joan Leitgeb and Lousise Papendick. Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22nd, 2013. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd, 2013 at 9:45 am at St. Rita's Church. Proceeding the mass, the burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery. Maria will be dearly missed by her friends and family, including her husband, Thomas Demato.
