Isaiah Zion Davis-Guadalupe age 13 departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2018.
He was born on February 23, 2005 at 10:44 am in Brooklyn, NY. Aunt Janean affectionately nicknamed him “Man-man” because he looked like a little man from day 1. Isaiah became everybody’s baby from the beginning.
Isaiah loved God and was actively involved in the church. St. George’s Episcopal Church of Astoria became his church home when at five years old, he asked to be baptized so he could become an official member of the church. Isaiah just completed 7th grade at Urban Assembly Academy for Future Leaders and was looking forward to applying to high schools next year.
Isaiah was an avid superhero fan. He also loved playing soccer, basketball and video games, but his real passion was art. He enjoyed watching and drawing anime. He drew on everything from scrap paper to test papers in school. Isaiah was very talented and was proud of a comic series that he created along with his friends Quentin and Alana, called “Adventures of Team Awesome.”
Isaiah was an intelligent young man who often impressed people with how well-spoken he was at an early age and how he could quickly work through a problem. Isaiah was one of the sweetest kids you could meet. He loved to give the best hugs. Isaiah was also silly; he loved to make people laugh. He had a larger than life personality that left a lasting impression with everyone he encountered.
Isaiah is survived by his, Mother: Sharelle, Father: Carlos, Brother: Lucas, (Isaiah was so proud to be a big brother. He truly loved his little brother.) Grandfather: Alton, Grandmothers: Juanita and Carol, Bonus Grandparents: Ron and Marsha, Aunts: Janean, Michelle and Alexis, Uncles: Budha and TJ, Cousins: Joshua, Tristan, Aniyah, Akil, and Mya, Extended families: “The 101”, Natalia and the Herring/Acevedo families, Best Friends- Quentin, Alana and Hailey, the St. George’s family and a host of other family and friends.
