She was raised with her brothers Adam and Garland and they attended Public school until her acceptance into Long Island
University where she acquired her degree. Gretchen joined Calvary Church at an early age. She was saved and loved by the Lord.
Gigi was a woman of many talents. She was musically inclined and she used music as an inspiration. She loved to sing, play the guitar and the piano. Gigi frequently used her talents for church services and special events at her job. She also loved to draw. She was a recognized graphic designer who loved to sketch. She was able to communicate in many languages such as Japanese, Spanish, and American sign.
Aside from her skills she was an avid reader, who often used reading as a way to relate to her experiences travelling abroad with her husband.
Gretchen was employed by the Board of Education where she
worked 22 years as an educator. She was a gentle person that loved and cared about children. She used music as an instrumental tool to soothe, calm, and inspire her students.
Gretchen was predeceased by her brother Garland Beasley Lee, her mother Gwendolyn June Beasley Lee and her husband Andrew Keadell. She leaves to mourn her memories her brother Adam Lee, her father James Lee, Michael Byer and her niece Nicole Lee, other relatives and a host of Woodside’s extended family and friends.
