Isabel R. Moreno

Isabel worked as a farm laborer for many years. She was a volunteer at St. Francis Cabrini in the Religious Education Program (CCD). She truly had a zest for life. She enjoyed family time. Isabel would travel to Texas regularly to visit her family, them off to Utah to visit other family but not before stopping in Las Vegas for a little gambling. There was no stopping her! She was very spirited woman. Anyone who knew her enjoyed her.

Isabel is preceded in death by her husband Alberto Moreno, Sr., Son Armando and her parents George and Domacia, her sisters Delfina “Chinita” Rodriguez, Socorro “Suki” Almanzar, brothers Lorenzo “Lencho” Rodriguez, Arnulfo “Fito” Rodriguez.

Isabel is survived by her sons: Alberto Moreno, Jr. (Kim) of Visalia, Jose R. Moreno of Utah, Larry Moreno (Dora) of Delano, daughters Benoveva Misquez (Basilio Sr.) of Woodlake, Vergie Esparza (Art Sr.) of Visalia, Genny M. Gonzalez of Woodlake, Yvonne Moreno of Lindsay and her loving brother George “Toti” Rodriguez of Texas. She has 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 134 N Cypress St., Woodlake on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 4-6 pm follow by Rosary at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances Cabrini, 198 N. Pepper St., Woodlake on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 9 am follow by graveside at Woodlake Public Cemetery.
